About Automated Rental Management

Automated Rental Management (ARM) is a third-party add-on module for Sage 100 ERP (formerly MAS 90/200) designed for small and mid-market equipment and event rental companies. ARM is published and maintained by Sage Gold Development Partner—BCS ProSoft.

ARM is sold through BCS ProSoft’s direct channel as well as through a network of Authorized Sage Partners. Our Partner Program remains a key component to our growth strategy and we regularly work with partners on new sales as well as sales to existing Sage 100 customers.

About the Partner Program

ARM is published by BCS ProSoft and sold through the Sage Reseller community by resellers just like you! Unlike many vertical products, you are not required to purchase a reference library or receive training in order to sell ARM and there are no annual reseller fees. The BCS ProSoft team will work side by side with you to find new opportunities, assist in the sales process, and implement the ARM portion of the Sage 100 sale.

Our rules of engagement are simple and clear: When we’re working with a prospect together, you are the Sage experts, we are the rental experts. Your team handles all discussions about price or anything specific to Sage 100 that isn’t related to rental. If your prospect reaches out to us, we’ll be sure to Cc you on any correspondence so that you always know what is going on.

The Rental Industry is stronger than ever and has continued to grow at a consistent pace since 2009, despite some markets being more volatile than others (i.e. Oil & Gas Rental). Growth has largely been due to a stable economy and access to capital and low interest rates. Profitable rental businesses are frequently the subject of mergers and acquisitions. Often allowing an organization to expand into a new market or add a new service/product offering to their portfolio. As organizations are becoming more sophisticated in how they run their business, they’re looking to technology that can help them run leaner operations.

Most prospects are using a combination of QuickBooks and a patchwork of systems not uncommon to your average Sage prospect. However, without a large competitive software landscape, many companies still use homegrown systems that have been obsolete for many years now. ARM is uniquely positioned in the rental market focused on the SMB while most other products are focused on small business or enterprise-level clients. ARM has maintained a strong marketing presence with the American Rental Association and benefits from wide brand recognition among the equipment and event rental industry. While other SMB solutions exist, they typically rely on integrations to QuickBooks and are focused on particular verticals (e.g. equipment OR event).
